Giulio Tremonti

E’ Presidente di Aspen Institute Italia.
È membro per la classe di Scienze Morali dell’Istituto Lombardo Accademia di Scienze e Lettere. Professore universitario dal 1974, è stato ordinario nella Facoltà di Giurisprudenza dell’Università di Pavia.
È autore di varie pubblicazioni, tra cui: “Guerra o Pace” (2025); “Globalizzazione. Le piaghe e la cura possibile” (2022); “Le tre profezie – Appunti per il futuro” (2019); “Rinascimento” (2017) con V. Sgarbi; “Mundus Furiosus” (2016); “Bugie e Verità- La ragione dei popoli” (2014); “Uscita di Sicurezza” (2012); “La paura e la speranza” (2008); “Rischi fatali” (2005); “Lo Stato criminogeno” (1997); “Il fantasma della povertà” (1995). Con G. Vitaletti è autore di: “Le cento tasse degli italiani” (1986); “La fiera delle tasse” (1991); “Il federalismo fiscale” (1994). Con S. Cassese, F. Galgano e T. Treu è autore di: “Nazioni senza ricchezza, ricchezze senza nazione” (1993). Giulio Tremonti è stato Visiting Professor presso l’Institute of Comparative Law della Oxford University. Ha partecipato a numerosi dibattiti ed ha tenuto conferenze, in Italia ed all’estero: Oxford Union Society; Cambridge Union Society; Humboldt Universität; Chatham House; Freiburg Universität – Walter Eucken-Vorlesung; Yale University – School of Law; Herzliya Conference; Scuola Centrale del Partito comunista cinese. Dal 1984 è opinionista per il Corriere della Sera.
È condirettore della “Rivista di diritto finanziario e scienza delle finanze”.

Gabriele Galateri di Genola
Mr. Galateri di Genola is President of the Italian Institute of Technology and Chairman of Fondazione Generali The Human Safety Net.After earning a law degree in Rome University and an MBA at the Columbia University Business School, Mr. Galateri di Genola began his career in 1971 at the Headquarters of the Banco di Roma, where he started as Head of the Financial Analysis Office before being appointed to manage the International Loans Office. From 1974 to 1976 he worked as Financial Director of the Saint Gobain Group in Italy and then in the financial department in Paris. In 1977, he joined FIAT S.p.A., where he moved from Head of North, Central and South American Operations at the International Finance Office to Head of International Finance and, ultimately, Director of Finance.In 1986 Mr. Galateri di Genola became CEO of Ifil S.p.A. In 1993, he took also on the positions of CEO and General Manager of IFI, which he retained until 2002. In June 2002, he was appointed CEO of FIAT Spa. Between April 2003 and June 2007, Mr. Galateri di Genola was Chairman of Mediobanca S.p.A, from December 2007 to April 2011 he was Chairman of the Board of Telecom Italia SpA and from April 2011 to April 2022 he has been Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali SPA. He is non-executive Board Member of Moncler SpA, YAFA SpA, Polifin S.p.A. and Vice- President of Giorgio Cini Foundation. He is also Member of the Emeriti Board of Columbia Business School, Senior Advisor of Temasek International (Europe) and member of the International Advisory Board of Bank of America.

Rettore dell’Università di Pavia dal 2025 e Ordinario di Scienza delle Costruzioni dal 2016. Si occupa di Meccanica Computazionale e per i suoi risultati è Commendatore dell’Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana, ISI Highly Cited Researcher, Fellow della European Academy of Sciences, Socio Ordinario della Accademia di Ingegneria e Tecnologia, TUM Ambassador. Tra i suoi riconoscimenti, la ECCOMAS Euler Medal, lo IACM Fellows Award, il Premio Panetti-Ferrari (Accademia delle Scienze di Torino), il Premio Finzi (Istituto Lombardo), un grant ERC.

Alberto San Giovanni Vincentelli
Alberto San Giovanni Vincentelli is the Edgar L. and Harold H. Buttner Chair of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley and a member of BAIR (Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research) Lab. He is an author or coauthor of over 1000 papers, 17 books and 3 patents. He is an IEEE and ACM Fellow, a member of the National Academy of Engineering and of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.He is a co-founder of Cadence and Synopsys, the two leading companies in Electronic Design Automation with a capitalization of over 160Billion USD.From February 2010 to December 2020, he had been a member of the Executive Committee of the Italian Institute of Technology, where he is now a member of the Technical Scientific Committee. In September 2023, he was appointed President of Chips.it, the 250MEuro Foundation of the Italian Government to foster integrated circuit design. He is the Chairperson of the Strategy Board and of the International advisory Board of the Milano Innovation District (MIND). He is the Chairperson of the Berkeley SkyDeck Accelerator Academic Advisors and is the special advisor of the Dean of Engineering, Berkeley, for entrepreneurship.Alberto is the recipient of several academic honors including the IEEE/RSE James Clerk Maxwell Medal “for groundbreaking contributions that have had an exceptional impact on the development of electronics and electrical engineering or related fields” and the 2023 BBVA Frontiers of Knowledge Award in the Information and Communication Technologies category: “for transforming chip design from a handcrafted process to the automated industry that power today’s electronic devices”. In 2025, he received the Rome Prize for the Advancement of Italy.
