In the 1920s, architect Piero Portaluppi was commissioned to design a cinema-theater.\r\nThe architect designed a angular perspective between Corso Cavour and Via Parodi. The theater opened in 1927 as the \"Politeama Principe Umberto Cinema Teatro.\"\r\n\r\nIn 1978, the cinema closed. It reopened in 1991 as a shopping center and cinema with approximately 370 seats. The angular perspective was maintained during the renovations, and the Art Deco wrought-iron canopy with the writing \"PPUCT\" (Politeama Principe Umberto Cinema Teatro) still stands.","link":"https:\/\/www.paviainnovationweek.it\/en\/location\/cinema-politeama\/","name":"Cinema Politeama","slug":"cinema-politeama","taxonomy":"location","parent":0,"meta":[],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.paviainnovationweek.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/location\/82","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.paviainnovationweek.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/location"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.paviainnovationweek.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/taxonomies\/location"}],"wp:post_type":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.paviainnovationweek.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/evento?location=82"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
