Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data
This page describes how the personal data of users who consult the institutional website (“www.pv.camcom.gov.it”) of the Chamber of Commerce of Pavia are processed. The Chamber of Commerce of Pavia ensures that the processing of personal data is carried out in compliance with the rights, fundamental freedoms and dignity of data subjects, with particular reference to confidentiality, personal identity and the right to the protection of personal data. The processing of personal data is based on lawfulness and fairness, with full protection of the rights and confidentiality of data subjects.
The information provided on this page applies exclusively to the website of the Chamber of Commerce of Pavia and not to any other websites that may be accessed via hyperlinks, for which the Chamber bears no responsibility. Detailed information notices relating to specific services offered may be provided on website pages within the different access channels.
DATA CONTROLLER
The Data Controller is the Chamber of Commerce of Pavia, with registered office at Via Mentana 27 – 27100 Pavia. With regard to data processed through IT systems via the institutional website, the Chamber of Commerce of Pavia has appointed Digicamere s.c.a.r.l., with registered office in Milan – Via Viserba no. 20, as Data Processor.
Infocamere, with registered office in Rome – Via G.B. Morgagni no. 13, has been appointed Data Processor for data processed through its applications.
DATA PROTECTION OFFICER (DPO)

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
Through this website, different types of data collection are carried out:
- necessary and automatic collection of browsing data for interaction with the website;
- collection and processing of data subjects’ data for the performance of institutional or promotional activities – subject to consent – such as the organization of events, training courses or seminars (also in collaboration with external entities, such as the Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce);
- processing related to the collection of data voluntarily entered by users through registration for online services, by completing electronic forms on the website within its pages, or by sending electronic messages to the contact addresses provided to contact the Chamber of Commerce of Pavia, or to respond to requests for information from data subjects;
- subscription – subject to consent – to newsletter services or to the sending of institutional or promotional communications regarding news, activities and initiatives of the Chamber of Commerce and its Special Agency, through automated systems for sharing, processing and exchanging information. In this latter case, the Special Agency will act as an independent Data Controller.
METHODS OF PROCESSING
The personal data of the data subject will be processed using automated and manual procedures, including profiling, solely for the purposes for which they are collected, ensuring their security and confidentiality. Any statistical surveys on user navigation within the site will be carried out in an entirely anonymous form and solely for the purpose of improving the website and the services offered by the Chamber of Commerce.
BROWSING DATA
The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects; however, by its very nature, it could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. These data, necessary for the use of web services, are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its proper functioning. They may also be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical cybercrimes against the site, in accordance with the procedures in force at the competent Authorities.
With the exception of browsing data, which are not retained for more than one week from collection, in accordance with Article 5(1)(e) of EU Regulation No. 679/2016, the data will be processed for the entire duration of the requested services and retained for the twelve months following for the purposes of carrying out administrative activities, in addition to the time necessary to comply with legal obligations.
DATA VOLUNTARILY PROVIDED BY THE USER
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the Chamber of Commerce contact addresses, as well as the completion of specific electronic forms on the Chamber of Commerce website, entails the acquisition of the sender’s contact data, necessary to respond, as well as all personal data included in the communications. The provision of data for registration to online services is voluntary; failure to provide such data will make it impossible to proceed with the provision of online services.
Subscription to newsletter services is cancelled upon request by the data subject. The sending of further communications by the Chamber of Commerce of Pavia may be revoked. The registration procedure for services must not be used with third parties’ personal data. Any form of violation of confidentiality to the detriment of third parties is expressly prohibited.
COMMUNICATION AND DISCLOSURE
Data provided through registration for online services may be communicated and disclosed, for the purposes of managing accounting and administrative obligations, to personnel authorized by the Chamber of Commerce, as well as by its Special Agency.
Personal data voluntarily provided by users who submit requests for information and for the sending of informational material, applications or proposals of various kinds are used solely for the purpose of performing the requested service or responding to the message.
They may be communicated to third parties only where this is necessary for such purposes and subject to prior notice to the Data Subject.
DATA RETENTION PERIOD
Data will be retained in accordance with the purpose for which they were provided and in any case for the period strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and no longer than indicated in the Record of Processing Activities of the Chamber of Commerce of Pavia.
RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS AND REMEDIES
Pursuant to Article 12 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, data subjects have the right at any time to access their personal data, request their rectification, updating or erasure if incomplete, inaccurate or collected unlawfully. They also have the right to request restriction of processing concerning them, transformation into anonymous form, to object at any time, on legitimate grounds, to their processing, and to withdraw previously given consent. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a report, complaint or appeal with the Data Protection Authority, in accordance with the procedures established by the Authority itself.

This cookie policy is a further specification of the privacy policy and aims to describe the various types of cookies and technologies used on the Chamber of Commerce website in order to illustrate the methods and conditions of their use.
This site uses first-party and third-party session cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service. It is nevertheless possible to disable Google Analytics by installing on your browser the opt-out component provided by Google). Although they have the same technical characteristics, cookies are distinguished into different types according to their purposes. For more information on the properties and use of cookies, you may consult Wikipedia. The website of the Chamber of Commerce of Pavia does not use profiling cookies. Therefore, these will not be covered by this document. SOCIAL NETWORK PLUG-INS
The website of the Chamber of Commerce of Pavia is integrated with certain social network plug-ins, in particular Facebook and Twitter, to allow users to publicly share portal content they find interesting. When the user visits a page of the site, the plug-ins establish a direct connection between the user’s browser and the social networks. Through this connection, social networks acquire certain information about the user, such as IP address, date and time of the visit, browser used, etc. Furthermore, if the user is logged in (and therefore authenticated) on one of these social networks, the information collected may be linked to their profile. The Chamber of Commerce of Pavia, however, does not collect any of the information transmitted to the social network through the plug-in.
